Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service for the least cost.
To accomplish this we need your help
1. Starting with the basics, in La Grande, we offer a 64 gallon rollcart. It can be serviced weekly, every other week, or once a month. In the rural areas of Union county we offer the rollcart every other week.
2. Curbside recycling is every other week on the same day your garbage is picked up. No curbside recycling is available in rural areas.
3. Our basic service is curbside or alley. Carryout is available at extra cost.
4. 5:00 a.m. is early, but that's when we start. Please have your cans out by then. Don't call in a miss until 2:30 p.m., because once in a while we have trouble with a truck or the weather.
5. Remember, we work on all holidays except Christmas & Thanksgiving!
6. If you plan to be out of town for a period of 3 weeks or more call us and temporarily stop your service. You will save some money.
7. We do pick up extra trash. Anything within one foot of your can will be picked up (at an extra charge) if it is bagged, boxed, or bundled. Please call in for large items.
8. Wood waste can be taken to the MRF free of charge for La Grande residents that have residential service.
9. We try our best, but we can make a mistake. Please call us at 541-963-5459 so we can correct our error.
